Scaling

The process of scaling involves the removal of calculus and plaque that accumulate on the surfaces of teeth.

This is done using dental instruments called scalers and ultrasonic scalers that vibrate at high frequencies. The main focus of scaling is on the area beneath the gum line and along the root of the tooth.

Root Planing

This procedure involves smoothing the root of the tooth, which promotes healing and reduces the risk of future bacterial colonization.

Stain Removal/ Polishing

Stain removal polishing is a common technique used to remove surface stains caused by coffee, tea, tobacco, and other substances, leaving your teeth looking cleaner and brighter.

The rubber cup used in this technique is gentle on tooth enamel, reducing the risk of damage to the tooth surface.

Then your teeth will be cleaned, removing hard and soft deposits around the teeth. Optional treatments include polishing for stain removal, fluoride, and reducing tooth sensitivity with crystal desensitizing solution.
